I developed the idea for the Arch-O-Mat in quite ancient times (more than 15 years ago). Originally it should have become a book, not unlike a childrens book, which invites one to play with shapes and meanings.

DOORKNOB COLLECTION
In 1994 FSB edited a book entitled “The Doorhandle Disaster” by Klaus Imbeck, published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walter König. That book opened my eyes and enlighted my love for the beauty of doorhandles (even it is not entirely about doorhandles).

MOBILITY AND THE CITY
